Custom Jewelry Design, defined.
Custom jewelry design takes a customer's idea to a finished, manufacturable design. You get concept sketches, a production CAD file, and a photorealistic render to close the sale.
Retailers use this service to sell bespoke pieces without an in-house designer. Your customer approves the render before you cast a single gram.
Part of Jewelry CAD Design. See the full process, the price list, or recent work.
Every order ships with all of this.
Not an upsell menu. This is the standard scope, and it is the same scope whether you order one piece or two hundred.
From $120 per design. Volume rates are on the pricing page.

An illustration of the difference light makes: the same piece, drained flat on the left, finished on the right. The real work is on the portfolio, file by file.

Final render Four steps, in order.
- 01
Brief and reference
A sketch, a photo, or a piece you already sell, plus finger size, stone sizes, and the metal you intend to cast in. Rough sketches are fine.
- 02
Block model, proportions agreed
We build the mass first and confirm proportions with you before any detailing. Fixing a shank profile here costs nothing; fixing it after setting is a re-model.
- 03
Detailing and production checks
Prong geometry, pave seats, wall thickness, and shrinkage allowance. If your caster has house rules, send them and we model to those.
- 04
Files your caster can run
3DM and STL, a stone map with sizes and counts, a metal weight estimate, and one render preview included with the model.
Files in, files out.
- Files in
- A sketch, a photo, or a reference piece, plus stone sizes and target metal.
- Files out
- 3DM source and STL for printing, with a stone map and a metal weight estimate.
- Turnaround
- 2 – 3 days to concepts, 3 – 4 days to CAD and render
- Revisions
- Two rounds included. You approve a preview before we produce final files.
- Price
- From $120 per design. Every figure is published on the pricing page.
- Confidentiality
- We sign your NDA, or provide ours, before any file changes hands.
How long does a custom design take?
Concept sketches arrive in 2 to 3 days. After you choose a direction, CAD and render take another 3 to 4 days. Rush timelines are available.
Who owns the design?
You do. Full rights transfer on final payment, including the CAD file. We keep nothing but the right to show the work in our portfolio, and we skip that too if you need NDA terms.
Can my customer request changes?
That is the point of the render step. Most change requests are stone size or metal color, which we turn around in 24 hours.
Do you work with retailers on white-label terms?
Yes. Many stores present our sketches and renders under their own brand. We stay invisible to your customer.
