Files and formats
What to send, what you get back.
What file types do you accept?
3DM (Rhino and Matrix), STL, OBJ, and STEP. We render from your finished CAD file. Send one sample and we confirm it works before you order.
My STL export looks faceted. Can you fix that?
Yes. Faceted exports are the most common issue we see. We smooth and rebuild surfaces during cleanup, and the render shows polished metal, not polygons.
What if my files are in a rare format?
Send one sample first. We handle most industry formats, and we confirm compatibility on the sample before you commit to a batch.
What do I get back?
Full-resolution JPG, PNG with transparency, and layered TIFF at 3000 x 3000 px or larger. Videos come as MP4 and WebM. Platform sizes for Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy on request.
Do I get the render scene files?
You get final images in every format we list. Render scene files stay with the studio, but your CAD files and approvals are always yours, and we return them on request.
Which software do you work in?
We render your CAD in professional 3D software tuned for jewelry, metals, and stones. You send a 3DM, STL, OBJ, or STEP file, and you get back finished images and videos.
My CAD has a pendant but no chain. Is that a problem?
That is common. Send the pendant CAD and tell us the chain style and length. We add the chain from our library at no extra cost.
Pricing and payment
Rates, add-ons, invoicing.
What does a render cost?
A flat $15 per CAD file right now, a launch offer, regular $30. One CAD file gives you 9 HD images, 3 rose gold, 3 white gold, and 3 yellow gold, plus 3 videos, one per metal. All three golds are included.
Is the free sample render really free?
Yes. One piece, standard angles, full quality, no payment details asked. It is the fastest way for both of us to know if we fit.
How do I pay?
Cards, PayPal, or wire. Orders under $500 are paid on approval. Larger projects split 50 percent up front and 50 percent on delivery.
Do prices change after the quote?
No. Nothing starts until you approve the quote, and the quote is a fixed price. Rush work is the one variable, and its fee comes with the quote, never on the invoice afterwards.
What does a second or third metal color cost?
Nothing extra. Every CAD file includes all three golds, rose, white, and yellow, at no added cost. You get 3 images in each gold and one video per metal in the flat $15 price.
How big does an order need to be for catalog pricing?
Pricing is flat at $15 per CAD file, a launch offer down from $30, whether you send one file or hundreds. The largest single catalog we have delivered was 4,800 SKUs over eleven weeks.
Do you charge a modeling fee if I already have CAD?
No. We only render from CAD you already have, at a flat $15 per file with no modeling fee. If a file has problems we cannot clean in under 30 minutes, we tell you before we start.
Do videos cost extra on top of the images?
No. Every CAD file includes 3 videos, one per metal, along with the 9 HD images, all in the flat $15 price. There is nothing extra to add.
Turnaround and delivery
Timelines and delivery.
How fast is delivery?
Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours per piece. Rush delivery is available when a launch cannot wait.
How are bulk orders scheduled?
Bulk orders of 20 or more pieces run on a shared timeline that we agree on before we start, delivered in weekly batches through a shared drive folder.
How do I track a large batch?
Every batch has a tracker showing rendered, in review, and approved status for each SKU, so you always know what is where.
What is the turnaround on a pair of earrings?
24 to 48 hours per design, the same as rings. A matched pair counts as one design.
Where are you located?
The studio is based in 205-B Shivalik Western, L.P. Savani Road, Adajan, Surat, Gujarat 395009, India, and we work with brands, factories, stores, and designers worldwide. Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours per piece wherever you are.
Quality and accuracy
Metals, stones, consistency.
How accurate are metals and stones?
We work from your metal specs and stone charts. 14k yellow renders differently than 18k, and a G color diamond renders differently than a D. Those differences show.
Can you match a specific diamond color grade?
Yes. Tell us the grade, for example G color VS2, and we tune body tone and inclusion visibility to sit honestly within that grade.
Do you render lab-grown and moissanite differently?
The geometry is the same but dispersion differs. We use the correct optical values for each material, so moissanite shows its stronger fire honestly.
Can you match my brand's photography style?
Yes. Send two or three photos from your current catalog. We match the lighting, shadows, and background, so renders sit next to photos without a visible difference.
Can renders really replace photography?
For most jewelry, yes. Renders skip the sample, the courier, and the reshoots. Many of our clients run entire stores on renders and shoot photos only for campaign models.
Will a tennis bracelet look repeated?
No. We render true geometry for every stone, and we vary the light response slightly along the row the way real stones behave. The result reads as real, not tiled.
Do you model chains link by link?
We build the real link pattern and repeat it along a natural curve. Cable, rope, box, and Cuban patterns all render with their true geometry, so the chain drapes instead of standing stiff.
How do you keep hundreds of renders consistent?
We lock a master scene: camera, lighting, and background never change. Every SKU is dropped into that scene, so the whole catalog matches.
Do your files pass Amazon's image rules?
Yes. Pure white 255 background, the piece filling 85 percent of frame, and correct minimum sizes. We prep files to pass on first upload.
Previews and revisions
Previews, changes, approval.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds with every order. You review a watermarked preview before final files, so most orders are approved first pass.
What if I am still not happy after two rounds?
You do not pay for that piece. That policy has cost us money twice in nine years, which is about how often it should.
Can my customer request changes?
That is the point of the render step. Most change requests are stone size or metal color, which we turn around in 24 hours, on screen, before anything is cast.
How do revisions work on the videos?
Two revision rounds come with every order, and the videos are included. We share the video before final export, which is where most changes happen at no cost.
Can you work from our old photography during a transition?
Yes. If you are replacing photos with renders, we match your existing angle and background first, so new images can go live next to old ones while the swap happens.
Confidentiality and rights
NDAs, ownership, white label.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, before we open your first file. We work on unreleased collections every week. Use your NDA or ours.
Who owns the images?
You do, fully, on payment. We only show work in our portfolio when clients allow it.
Do you work white label for retailers?
Yes. Many stores present our sketches and renders under their own brand. We stay invisible to your customer.
Can you copy a piece from photos?
We can model from clear photos of a piece you own or have rights to. We do not copy other designers' protected work.
The answer changes with the business
A manufacturer with 800 archived CAD files and a designer with one sketch have different questions. Each of these pages answers the ones specific to that job.
Question about one service?
Every service page ends with its own FAQ block: file specs, view counts, and the things only that job raises.
