Does this upload my CAD file?
No. The checker works entirely from what you type. Your file never leaves your computer, which is why it cannot inspect the geometry itself, only your description of the brief.
What file types should I be sending?
For rendering we accept 3DM, STL, OBJ, and STEP. If you only have a sketch or a photo, the studio can build the CAD model first. The checker flags this as a gap so you can plan for it.
What if my score is low?
A low score is useful. It lists exactly what is missing, so you can fill the gaps before you order. Most low scores come from an undecided background or missing metal colours, both quick to answer.
